Abby is doing so well! She is now completely off leash and knows all of her commands. She has shown me she can handle most of the work but she still toils with restraining herself when she is happy. Self-restraint will come with age and with consistency from her owners. She has stopped jumping up on me and my husband but continues to jump around us when she is happy. She calms down when the baby is around, which I appreciate, but she has learned that licking his little toes makes him laugh and so now that is their favorite game.
Abby is now into the practice stage. Since we are not introducing anything new we are just making her workouts more distracting and challenging. I like to take my boarders into town at least once and I hope to find time to do this before she gets home but tomorrow is one of my busiest lesson days and so I may not be able to tomorrow. Luckily my "weekend" is coming up and I will hopefully have time then to get miss Abby into town for a walk on Mass.
