Smarty pants Barkley goes home tomorrow. He has done a very good job with his training. He is still very young so he requires some patience but he tries hard and he loves getting the answer right.
He knows all his commands and other than a reminder here and there or some encouragement now and then he is really very good. When he does make mistakes it is due to puppy exuberance and not just defiance.
He is a very good candidate to take his training farther to off-leash if his parents were ever interested but for now he has a solid foundation in obedience to help him be a stellar pet. I will miss his sweet beardy face!
