Bella had a good day today. We ramped up her obedience and started Heel, Autosit, Down, Implied Stay and Come. She is a responsive dog who already clearly knows some words. She is a little silly about Down and likes to flop over and playfully get her belly scratched (see today's Facebook picture).
She is a soft dog who is easily startled and so something I am trying to do is to shorten her recovery time when something scares her. Today we worked at the farm where I can control the distractions and she enjoyed herself there quite a bit. Tomorrow I plan to work her in my neighborhood and possibly, if all works out, downtown a little bit.
She has been gentle with the kids so far and is even tolerating the Great Dane a little more. I am overall very pleased with today and I think she is already showing a lot of progress.
