Day 2 for Chloe went fine. We went over all of the commands she learned during weekly lessons quite a while ago and she retained them pretty well! She tends to put her own spin on things, especially Down, but it only took a little bit of reminding to help her get it right. Tomorrow we will see about introducing her to a remote trainer. The one that will go home with her is still in the mail but we will use one that I have here so we don't have to wait for it.
Today we were out in the yard and she found 3 tennis balls. No idea where she found them but she was very proud of them and didn't want any of the other dogs playing with them. We will have to have some one-on-one fetch time tomorrow.
Things are going smoothly and she is fitting in well here. She isn't great about sharing with the other dogs so high-value treats and bones are put away for now until they figure their stuff out. But she is playing nicely with Ace and respecting Ted's desire to not be bothered. All in all, a good day for Chloe!
