Baby Clem is so close to being all finished up here. She goes home this weekend and I am proud of her progress. On-leash her work outs are pretty stellar. She is a ham and she loves attention and praise and so she rarely needs a correction when working. However, in the house she is still very very puppy and needs reminders for appropriate behavior from time to time, especially when the other dogs are around and she gets very playful and hyper. Having her drag her leash has made it easier to remind her of what she is and is not allowed to do in the house. These lapses in behavior are certainly due to her age. As she grows up and matures a little she will be more responsive when excited. She just needs a tiny bit more time to puppy around before she can focus and stay on task for a long stretch. She is such a gold star puppy that I am excited to see how she does in the coming months. The big trick is that you must have high expectations for her. She will happily pretend not to know the rules and misbehave if you don't expect good behavior from her. But she can do it! She just tries to toe the line a little bit because she is smart and spunky. Training her has been such a blast.

Hi there. I am quite busy managing the dogs the past few days and I haven't checked your blog. I really loved animals just like you. They are like family for me since I do not have one right now since I am living far from my hometown. I am really into animals because they make me happy and they make me feel love in spite of my shortcomings. I would love to learn more about you in taking care of animals.
