Well today we took Gunner's go-home video and his glamor shot for the website. He is ready to go home and show his owners what a good boy he can be. He now knows:

and Place.
He isn't perfect but he has a very solid foundation now. He still needs to be led to his bed for Place but he is staying put for 2 or more hours now without getting up. He still has a lot of puppy in him and I am very pleased with how well he has grasped everything. He really loves getting praise and when he makes a mistake he does not pout or carry on about a correction.
He is doing well with his door shutting. Our doors at the house are a bit heavy and he is not pushing them closed yet but I had a brain storm and am going to work with him tonight on shutting a cabinet door that swings shut a little easier just to get him to understand what motion we want from the door. He really seems to enjoy the game of touching the big red dot with his nose and he even has started to push it with his foot. We just need to translate this with the door. I am sending his dot home with him and his owners can continue to work on his door shutting. I think a weekend's hard effort will get him there.
We will miss this "pesky little brother." He has been a real joy to have around and has fit in with our "pack" pretty seamlessly. The dogs like him, the cat likes him, the humans all want to steal him. He is a special boy.
