Harley Board and Train day 7

Harley had a much better day today. He didn't try to bolt though he really thought about it a few times. We worked farther away from the house today so maybe the distance helped him not try to get out of the work. Once he got started he did perfectly. I honestly wished I had filmed it because his workouts today would have been great examples for his go-home video. 
We are in upkeep mode and trying to smooth out this little bolting thing. In the house he has been a peach, other than bothering the kitty too much. He hasn't tried to counter surf since he got busted for it. Food on the coffee table or the baby's biscuits are very difficult for him to ignore but he hasn't stolen anything while he has been here, other than Oscar's blanket. But Oscar steals Harley's so they kind of trade blankets sometimes.
Tomorrow Harley is going to get a little more kennel time than usual because I have a full day of lessons but he will get his exercise and his potty breaks. I hope to get in a couple workouts between lessons.
More tomorrow about how he is doing but I am very pleased with his progress. His owners will need to do some upkeep when he gets home to make sure he understands that this is his way of life now and not just things he does sometimes. But I think he will adapt back home just fine if they lay the ground rules right away.
