Well, Mr. Max goes home tomorrow. He had a solid foundation in his obedience and while he still might make a mistake here and there he is easy to correct and get back on task. He is very responsive to a verbal correction and takes only a small correction on his prong collar.
In the house he is a different dog. Happy to spend an afternoon on his Placemat and easy to redirect from rough play. If he is getting too rowdy with Ace all I've needed to do is to lay down and he calms right down and chills out. He is still a little golden shadow but if he is told to he will stay put.
I know he has enjoyed the work but I also know he will be thrilled to go home with his mom again where he won't suffer the indignity of sleeping in a training room. I will miss this goober! He is a good boy and was a joy to work with.
