Another good day for Oscar. He spent some time testing boundaries today. He tried to see if he could go into the horses' area, he tried chasing the cat, he was a little more bouncy that usual but he was easily corrected each time. He wasn't being defiant so much as he seemed to be testing the waters to see what he could get away with.
His obedience is fine. We are just trying to move him into a headspace where this is his daily life now. These commands are not party tricks but tools for his daily life. His owner will be tasked with the job of making that his reality. Luckily his owner seems to be more than up to the job of having high standards for him.
Tomorrow is going to be a boring day for him. He will get his exercise and potty breaks but it is my busiest day for lessons and so he will have a little more downtime than usual. But a rest is usually a great reset for dogs who have been working as hard as Oscar. More tomorrow but for now he is doing fine.
