Keeping the blog short tonight as the 1-year-old is requiring some extra attention tonight.
Charles got a lot of house time today and so this gave us lots of opportunity to work on Place and Leave It. He is an impulsive dog and so his moms will need to be vigilant during the first week home to make sure he doesn't back-slide.
Place went well especially durning dinner. The baby was feeding everyone his noodles and Charles stayed on his mat even though it meant missing out on the snack.
He was a bit pouty today because his best wrestling buddy broke his foot over the weekend and so wasn't up to their normal shenanigans. But they adapted to a game of tug-of-war instead. Always enterprising!
Tomorrow I hope the weather clears up so that I can take Charles to the farm again for a good run around. For now he is howling in his kennel because the train is going by and he generally disapproves of trains.
