Christa Board and Train day 5

Christa spent 90% of her day today out in the house with Kylie and Ted. She has been trustworthy out of her crate (only one flip flop casualty for which I am partially to blame. I got absorbed in an email and didn't notice she had swapped her nylabone for a flip flop) and has not been destructive or disruptive (Flip flop not withstanding) to the daily goings on in the house and gets along well with everybody. Indeed she is so sweet and snuggly I feel like we did more cuddling than training today, which was fine with her because she was not in a working mood today. Though I did make her do a few workouts today regardless of her mood.
Today she did start trying to get us to chase her. She did not want to come to us in the house and we ended up following her around, being as boring as possible so as not to reward her too much as she does seem to like the "chase me" game, until she gave up and laid down and allowed me to leash her for her workout.
She seemed very sensitive during her workouts today. She was argumentative and a little cranky. She also was back talking more than she has lately. I am convinced this is due to the fact that she did not sleep well last night. We moved her into a crate in the apartment instead of the kennel she is used to and she spent a good portion of the night complaining very loudly about the room change. Hopefully she will be more comfortable tonight.
Her obedience is going just fine. She back-slid on the Down today and we needed some refreshers and correction but by her last workout she was doing much better.
Tomorrow is more work on the obedience and Place. We are going to add distractions (toys thrown around, a person trying to say hi to her, etc) to make things more difficult. Also we are going to keep after her about Down because today she was pretty adamant about ignoring that command. Stinker.
