Who remembers sweet Gunner who charmed us during his Board and Train? Well we have his baby sister here for 7 days of obedience on a Dogtra IQ. As Gunner's full sister (different litter) Annie is true to form. Sweet, gorgeous, and pretty sure she can "cute" her way out of anything, my entire family is ready to keep her forever. Thus is the power of a Golden Retriever.
Today we got her all settled in and started Heel/Autosit. Her Autosit isn't quite there yet but her Heel is quite nice now. We also started the Implied Stay which is pretty good unless Ace is around to make bouncing look like fun.
Tonight she wouldn't eat her dinner, perhaps watching the KU game ruined her appetite. She was very polite in the house and only needed one correction for sniffing a dinner plate. She is, however, pretty convinced that she is allowed on the couch.
We will have fun with her this week. And I am looking forward to watching this little goofball become the princess she is so capable of being.
