He knows his commands and we are slowly getting him to move a bit faster. The important thing is to insist on it. Even if he is feigning deafness or is being so darn cute that you just can't stand to make him lay down when he is acting so put out about it. Just remember that we are not asking anything difficult. Laying down in a bed of soft leaves won't kill him, he is just a bit of a drama queen.
He has started looking for praise when he knows he got the right answer which is a big step to him understanding what he is working for. Tomorrow we are taking his go-home video and getting him ready to start his new obedient lifestyle with his owner. He goes home on Monday and we get to enjoy the next few days and not work on anything new, just practice what we know and have some extra play time in the warmer weather, which we could all use.
