His Placemat command is going well. He is staying put (pouty) for about an hour today with only one mistake. He's still a bit of an impulsive guy but you can see him stopping himself more and more and making better choices. We're in proofing mode now just working on making sure he can perform in higher distraction settings. He's still very puppy but you can tell he uses his noodle more now instead of just pouncing at every opportunity to play or run around. He's been cracking us up for 10 days.
Bowser is doing great. His off-leash work outs are going really well once he gets started. He is squirrely about starting and will bounce around and try to tease you into playing with him instead. But once you get going he stops acting like a dork and gets down to business. He sometimes will lay down instead of sit, like he is skipping a step or anticipating what I will ask him to do next. Once he is released from command he b lines for his bed to make sure his toys are still there then he trots back to the yard to play. He has really come out of his shell the last few days and I've gotten to correct him for counter surfing a few times.
