I am also happy to report that Bowser has for the last few days been able to be out with the chickens and he has completely ignored them. This is a good thing not because his owners were desperate for him to tolerate chickens but because it shows that he can go from having a very high prey drive for something to living in polite indifference to it just through correction and praise. This skill will come in handy many times, I’m sure, as he is a pup who enjoys the chase.
Tomorrow we are going to work a little more on Placemat and on his Heelwork and trying to lengthen his attention span in the Heel but other than that he is just in practice-makes-perfect mode.
