In the house he has been a quiet and polite guest and outside he is inquisitive and playful. I hope to be able to give him some off leash time in a few days but for now we are just solidifying his obedience foundation and making sure he feels good about his remote and confident he knows the right answers. We don’t want him wondering what to do when we take that leash off! He is a bright boy and he is learning quickly!
Bowser is doing great. He has been introduced to all of his commands and we have started using his remote collar. It makes him a little nervous and he isn’t ready to not have a leash on but as we replace his corrections and he gets more and more used to the sensation of the collar he should feel better about it. He takes the tiniest little correction. Out of 100 levels he sits at level 8 which is a correction I can’t even feel! This is great because we always want to use the lowest level possible but he is so low that it is very easy to overcorrect him if his collar gets turned up accidentally. I have taken to locking his remote so that it doesn’t get turned up by accident since he is a bit of a softie.
