Wow. This rat terrier is energy defined. We may need to do exercise runs instead of walks. True to his breed, Dane is very focused and has energy to burn. Which is usually a combination for fast learning. We worked on leash manners today while on a walk but the real work starts tomorrow.
Opinionated Dane is happy to tell me when he wants something done differently and he tries to manipulate people with cuteness. However, during a game of fetch he quickly learned that all people at Free State K-9, and not just me, will make him sit before tossing his favorite toy shark.
The goal tomorrow is to introduce a formal heel/autosit and down at the left side tomorrow.
