Smarty pants is moving right along. We are still in the basics but I am going to up the challenge here in the next day or so. I want him to be on a completely loose leash (in mild distractions setting) for a day then we will move him to a long line and his remote collar.
Darth has quite a bit of house time today as the winter weather advisory canceled much of my day. He is a bit of a Buffalo in the house but Dana doesn’t tolerate too much shenanigans so he is slowly learning to tip toe and not just treat furniture like a jungle gym. Dana is strict about house manners. This dislike for rowdy behavior inside has given her the nickname “The Fun Police”. But even with Dana disapproving of undignified behavior Darth enjoyed himself. We will continue to have high expectations for his house manners while keeping in mind he is a baby still.
tomorrow will be slightly more boring for him as my lessons are back on but I still intend to get him inside and outside plenty. He is a sweet boy and I genuinely enjoy his company throughout the day. He adds an element of goofiness to everything.
