My friend Darth Vader has come leaps and bounds (literally) over the weekend. He is now fully off leash and on his remote for all walks, play time, and work outs. His obedience is going well. His off-leash heel is still a little sloppy because he wants to go go go but his patience is improving.
The remote is also starting to get results in the house for things like barking for attention and counter surfing. We are slowly seeing his wheels start to turn and he catches himself BEFORE making a mistake.
He is such a joy to work with and his sweet, non-combative nature brings out a very enjoyable house guest. His friend Dana is loving his company except when he barks in her face and she has to correct him for being rude. But! He takes her corrections very well and speaks Dog fluently no it never actually hurts his feelings when she is strict with him.
