Dyson Board and Train day 3

Dyson is coming right along. He has gotten all of his commands down, Heel/Autosit, Down at the side and Down from the front, Implied Stay, Come and Placemat and he is pretty reliable while wearing his pinch collar. He will need his training collar for a while after he goes home to establish good habits and maintain his training and then he can be weaned off of it.
Dyson and I went for a run yesterday and he is going to be an enthusiastic running buddy. He stayed in a Heel at my left side the whole time and other than when he needed to go potty he kept pace with me the whole way.
Dyson is a chronic barker at home but the only time he gets loud here is when he is in his kennel and another dog is going out or if he can hear me outside the garage. So I have utilized a bark collar coupled with the command “hush” and praise for quiet and he is doing much better. The bark collar corrects him when I cannot and he has even started to be quiet when he doesn’t wear it. Once he escalates though, to that incessant nonstop barking it is very har to stop him. The collar keeps him from getting to that frantic point.
Now that his foundation obedience is in place we just add practice time and distraction to his workouts and proof him a bit. He has been a quick study and a blast to train.
