Lexi was kind of hot and cold today. Her first workout was pretty bad. This was her first workout without a leash and at first she did fine. After a while though she got stressed out and bolted to the front door. She refused to come when called and I had to go get her. After that the rest of the lesson was spent on easier things to build her confidence back up.
Her second workout was better. She followed me nicely and only made a few mistakes (mostly on the implied stay). I hope to start more difficult stuff with her tomorrow but I plan to start slow so as not to stress her out again. So fragile!
This morning during potty time she got stuck in a bush. I tried to help her but was laughing so hard I don't think I did very much. Eventually we got her untangled. This afternoon during Recess the whole family gathered to watch the dogs play and Lexi was the main attraction. She would hop over the other dogs and flop around the room making everyone laugh. Who needs tv when you have a Doodle?
