If yesterday was a day of tantrums today was a day of cooperation. Linus did such a good job today. He was willing to work with me and he fought the leash less. In fact, the only time I had to really bust him for pulling was when Angela (the garage kitty and my little helper) ran underneath his belly and he wanted to run after her. His Heel/Autosit is going very well, though he isn't very patient at doorways. He was introduced to the Implied Stay and seemed to get the concept but also seems wary of being left out of some fun. He didn't like Down very much and kept trying to play bow instead. Something to work on tomorrow.
He had a FANTASTIC time during off leash play time in the training room (maybe I will start calling it Recess). He got to play with Lexi, Rocky the German Shepherd, Chewe the Toy Poodle, and Maddie the mutt. They all seemed to love his floppy play style and if ever there was not enough attention being paid to him he would lay down and bark until they all came over to investigate. Everyone was really entertained by his antics.
Tomorrow is back to work for him as we work on Down and introduce Recall. We may do Placemat if things go well.
