Well our sweet friend Maci is one week into her training and she is pretty much exactly where I would expect her to be. She knows her commands though and her reliability is getting better. She still sometimes tries to run from corrections (out of avoidance not because she is scared) but that's difficult to do when you're wearing a remote collar. Our goal next week is to beef up her confidence and her reliability. She is still to young to have a ton of dignity when she does her obedience but her cute Dane spin she puts on the commands is very endearing.
Today we had a pretty typical work day except that when the heat index got into triple digits we skipped our last workout and played in the house instead.
Tomorrow is my son's birthday party and so I will be knee deep in four year olds and Maci will get a bit of a day off. Sunday we are back to normal but I plan to do a tiny bit of work with her tomorrow evening if I'm not too bushed from the kiddo's shenanigans.
