Another good day for Penny. It was disgusting outside and too hot for a long walk so we did some work on house manners and had our workouts in the training room. She is coming along well but still has some silly habits.
She knows Down fairly well now but her Implied Stay needs a ton of work. You can tell she is convinced that as soon as she hears "good girl!" she thinks she's done and can pop up and do whatever. Of course, this isn't the case. She needs to be able to get praise but hold position until she is released or else she will be impossible to park when we need her to sit still for any length of time.
Tomorow is supposed to be another nasty, hot day so likely her walk will wait until later in the day and we will continue to work on getting her ready for her remote collar.
