Wow, today has been awesome. Hopefully we can continue with this beat for the rest of the day and tomorrow. We started the day later than usual and so she was READY to work when we got started. We started the day with a brisk jog down the driveway to get some energy burned. I don't know if she is used to jogging but if her owner wishes to continue with this good habit they won't have a hard job. She fell right into step next to me and jogged very nicely the whole way with no jerking or bounding away or tripping me up. She seemed to enjoy it. We then had one of the best workouts since we started her Board and Train. She only needed one physical correction and 2 or 3 verbals. She got "down" from the front nicely on the first try! Her recall is perfect (no more jumping up!) and her "heel/autosit" is very nice. If she -does- get corrected she still takes it personally and slinks around for a few seconds but she gets over it and moves on after a bit.
Right now she is resting on her place mat with the other dogs laying around her and she is doing just fine (other than a few whimpers here and there to let me know she'd rather be bouncing).
If things continue like they're going I am confident we should be able to finish on time and she can go home on Wednesday. I am a happy trainer!
