My favorite floofles go home tomorrow. I am proud of how far these young pups have come. They now know how to Sit, Down, Stay, Heel (yes, even Ruby though she still tries to get out of it sometimes), Come, and Placemat on command. They understand that they can enjoy the freedom of their collars but also that when they feel the pager that they need to turn around and return to their person.
I hope their owners enjoy their dogs' new skills. It is important that they understand that these two dogs can do it. If you have high expectations for these little guys they can really do some cool things but they are so cute that they often can manipulate their way out of doing work they don't want to do.
I will miss these guys. They stole my heart and I have had so much fun working with them. I know that they will be so happy to be home and back with their people. They settled into their kennel pretty well but I know they would rather be in their own home. They are good puppies and I look forward to seeing them during their followup lessons.
