Traya goes home tomorrow. She has had a fantastic week. I didn’t take her as far as I had planned because she was so nervous for the first but her time in public went extremely well. I introduced her to a remote collar and she did pretty well on it. She is a dog who requires patience when introducing new things so we didn’t do much off the leash but she is well prepared to make that step when her mom wants to.
Traya’s Training as a service dog will not be complete after 5 days. But this has been a good boost for her and we can hit the ground running with her public access and if her owner wishes we can move her on to off-leash obedience as well.
Traya is such a sweet soft personality. I will miss her and I look forward to working with her more down the road.
