Dapper Wallace is here for 10 days of advanced obedience training. He is a big, happy-go-lucky boy who has already made fast friends with Ace and Kylie. He tried being friends with Ted but Ted just wanted to lay in the grass. Maybe tomorrow he will feel like playing.
Wallace has some obedience training under his belt already so he knows a few commands. A big goal for him is going to be getting him transitioned to his remote trainer so that he can enjoy some more freedom while giving his owner the tools to allow him to play without a physical leash while still complying with the leash law and keeping Wallace safe.
Wallace has settled in nicely with his neighbor, Ginger in the next kennel. I am looking forward to my week with this big guy and helping him reach his owner's goals of having more control while giving him more freedom. Tomorrow we are working on cleaning up all of his commands and making sure he understands what is expected of him. We are going to focus on his Heel work because his leash manners (though he knows better) are leaving something to be desired. This guys is happy to please and likes being with people so he should be fun to work with. Welcome Wallace!
